Companies change hands quietly.
WMN Investments is the transactions practice of WMinus. We prepare privately held companies for sale, find the right buyer, and coordinate the transaction through to signature.
A transactions practice inside a company that builds companies.
WMinus builds software and operating systems for businesses, and holds stakes in companies it builds with. That work shows us, from the inside, what makes a company easy to run and what makes it worth buying.
WMN Investments puts that knowledge to work on the other side: preparing owners for a sale, finding buyers who will pay for what the company really is, and keeping the process confidential from first contact to closing.
- Owners of privately held companies SELL SIDE
- Buyers and investors seeking an operating business BUY SIDE
- Founders planning who comes after them SUCCESSION

We act for one side of the table, and only one.
Every engagement starts with a written mandate. We represent the seller or the buyer, never both in the same transaction, so you always know whose interest we carry into the room.
Sale of a company
For owners ready to exit, fully or in part. We turn the business into something a buyer can understand, verify and pay for.
THE MANDATE BUY SIDEAcquisition search
For buyers who know what they want to own. We find companies that are not on the market and open the first conversation discreetly.
THE MANDATE SUCCESSIONSuccession and continuity
For founders with no one lined up to carry the company on. We look for an owner who will run it, not strip it.
THE MANDATE ASSETSProducts, IP and property
When the value sits in a software product, a brand or the property a company stands on, we sell it on its own.
THE MANDATEA mandate runs in five stages.
Each stage ends with a decision that is yours. Nothing moves to the next one, and nothing leaves our office, without your written approval.
Assessment
The company, the owner's goals and a realistic value range, before any commitment.
Preparation
Financials normalised, documents gathered, risks found early. The data room is ready before a buyer asks.
Approach
An anonymous teaser to a short, qualified list. Names only after a signed NDA.
Negotiation
Offers compared on price, structure, terms and certainty. The letter of intent is negotiated with you.
Closing
Due diligence and the purchase agreement, drafted by legal counsel, through to signature.
What owners ask us first.
Will my employees, customers or competitors find out?
Not from us. Buyers first receive an anonymous teaser without the company's name. The identity of the company is disclosed only to buyers you approve, and only after they sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Do you also act for buyers?
Yes, under separate buy-side mandates. We never act for both the seller and the buyer in the same transaction.
How long does a sale take?
It depends mostly on how prepared the company is and how many realistic buyers exist for it. After the assessment you receive a timeline for your company, not a general estimate.
What does it cost?
Fees depend on the size and type of the transaction and are agreed in a written mandate before any work starts. We do not publish prices.
Do you give financial or investment advice?
No. WMN Investments is not an investment firm and does not provide investment advice. We prepare and coordinate the transaction. The decisions are yours, taken with your own legal, tax and financial advisers.
Who drafts the contracts?
The parties' legal counsel. We prepare the commercial terms and coordinate counsel, tax advisers and auditors through due diligence and signing.
What happens after I send an inquiry?
A partner reads it and contacts you by email or phone to arrange a first conversation. Sending an inquiry creates no obligation for either side.
Every sale begins with a private conversation.
Tell us briefly about the company and what you have in mind. Inquiries are read by a partner and treated as confidential.
